THE TERMINATOR AND AUDEMARS PIGUET RAISE $400,000 FOR THE INNER-CITY GAMES

On Monday, June 23rd Arnold helped celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Audemars Piguet flagship boutique in New York City by hosting a live auction of special limited edition items from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines! And for the first time, absentee bidders were invited to particpate alongside live bidders in a silent online auction. The auction was a huge success! $400,000 dollars was raised by the live auction and will go to help benefit the Inner-City Games Foundation. Joining Arnold at the one-of-a-kind event were Audemars Piguet’s President Georges-Henri Meylan and President of North America, Francois-Henry Bennahmias. Richard Brierley of Christie's was on hand to help Arnold conduct the auction.

The auction included the only four prototypes of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Terminator 3 Chronographs that will ever be sold to the public as well as an Indian Chief T3 limited edition motorcycle, T3 pinball machine by Stern Pinball, Inc., T3 humidor designed by Daniel Marshall and many other limited edition items.

Audemars Piguet is the oldest Haute Horlogerie watchmaker still in the hands of its founding families and holds a record number of world firsts in terms of complex watch mechanisms. Audemars Piguet created an extreme watch for the movie Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, the Royal Oak Offshore Terminator 3 Chronograph.

The mission of the Inner-City Games Foundation is to provide opportunities for inner-city youth to participate in sports, educational, cultural and community enrichment programs; to build confidence and self-esteem; to encourage youth to say “no” to gangs, drugs and violence and “yes” to hope, learning and life.
