Home Service Call -

A typical service call charge is $179.99 if the game was purchased from our company. This covers normal travel time to the service location within a 20 mile radius of our facility in Lakewood, NJ and the first hour at the location. It does not include necessary parts to effect repairs to the equipment. Service is billed at $75 per hour or portion thereof after the first hour.

If the equipment was not purchased from our company the service call charge is $229.00. This covers normal travel time to the service location within a 20 mile radius of our facility in Lakewood, NJ and the first hour at the location. There are two reasons for a difference in the price. The first is that we have no clue what condition the game could be in if we did not sell it to you. Most times it's been butchered and we need to spend more time and effort to make repairs. The second reason is a customer discount.

We warranty our repairs and our expert technical staff has over 30 years experience in the repair of coin operated amusement and music equipment. Locations in excess of 20 miles will be charged at the travel rate of $65 per hour. E mail us with your problem or question first....We'll be happy to help.

Batteries.  Every digital/electronic pinball machine has batteries that store the programmable memory functions of the game when the game is powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet. Many games use regular AA batteries and some use ni-cad or lithium batteries that are soldered directly to a circuit board.  On many service calls we find that these batteries have leaked acid and have destroyed the circuit boards in the game.  The batteries need to be changed every two years.

At the very least you should at least inspect it to see if it has started to leak so that the problem can be corrected. Spending a few minutes now could save you hundreds of dollars later!  Note that if you change the batteries with the game powered off, you will lose the game settings, audits and high-scores.  Batteries can also be changed with the power on so you won’t lose any data, but be careful not to get shocked or blow a fuse shorting something out.
